Telephone sales and marketing

This four hour course is for:

People new to the telesales role and experienced staff, who would benefit from a refresher session. This practical session provides a clear guide on how to plan and structure calls, match selling points to the needs of buyers and develop conversations. This will put the buyer at the centre of each call and keep the call under the control of the telemarketer.

Course objectives:

  • The Pitch, using relevant techniques to describe the product
  • Conversation Development and Objection Handling, turning these into buying signals
  • The Close, which includes keeping the dialogue open for future calls
  • Getting Past the Gatekeeper, how to deal with the receptionist

Blended learning, with tutor input, skills practice, observation, shared experience and visual aids.
